CK: It's not about getting to the bottom of the issue.  It's about making political points.  And the opposition (Republicans) have done that.  They've already gotten to the bottom of Benghazi, Libya.  

• Not enough security, (spending cuts to the State Department)
• military forces couldn't get there in time per Gen. Dempsey, (located in Stuttgart, Germany)
• the CIA was at the annex so they couldn't engage the threat without exposing their mission (Rep Jason Chaffetz let that slip early into this hearing strategy) 
• and 11 embassies and annexes were being protested against because of that movie.

But as a political fact, this thing is done," he said on Fox News about congressional Republicans' many investigations into how the Obama administration handled the attack on the U.S. diplomatic mission in Benghazi, Libya."
