Trump posse browbeats Hill Republicans - POLITICO

Trump posse browbeats Hill Republicans - POLITICO: "In early December, Rep. Bill Flores made what seemed like an obvious observation to a roomful of conservatives at a conference in Washington. Some of Donald Trump’s proposals, the Texas Republican cautioned, “are not going to line up very well with our conservative policies," though he quickly added that there was plenty the incoming president and GOP Congress could accomplish together.

Little did Flores realize the hell that would soon rain down from Trump's throng of enforcers."  'via Blog this'

Mapping the Growth of Disability Claims in America - Bloomberg

Check out the Virginia!  Dickenson County, VA 20.2%!!  Damn!
Mapping the Growth of Disability Claims in America - Bloomberg: "If you’ve paid into Social Security, become injured or sick, and can no longer earn more than $1,130 a month, you can get a monthly subsidy from Social Security’s Disability Insurance Trust Fund. In 1990 fewer than 2.5 percent of working-age Americans were “on the check.” By 2015 the number stood at 5.2 percent. That growth has left the fund in periodic need of rescues by Congress—most recently in 2015, when the Bipartisan Budget Act shifted money from Social Security’s old-age survivors’ fund to extend the solvency of the disability fund to 2023."  'via Blog this'

Trump's tweet shaming startles corporate America - POLITICO

Trump's tweet shaming startles corporate America - POLITICO: "For corporate America, Donald Trump is quickly putting the bully in the bully pulpit.

The president-elect has already singled out Rexnord, Carrier and Ford Motor for attacks over their plans to ship jobs out of the United States.

And on Tuesday he lashed out at aerospace giant Boeing over what he described as the bloated cost of the company's contracts to build presidential planes. His comments initially slammed Boeing's stock price and those of defense contractors across the board and sent shockwaves through boardrooms nationwide as chief executives worry they will wind up in Trump’s crosshairs."
