FDIC issues cease and desist Horizon

The Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) issued a cease and desist order to Horizon Bank, with offices in Pine City and North Branch, for what it called “unsafe and unsound banking practices.” The order was made public today, Feb. 27, based on a January investigation.
