U.S.-Made Tear Gas Fired in Egypt - The Daily Beast: "Well this is a bit awkward: Tear-gas canisters recovered from Egyptian streets after being fired on demonstrators bear the label “Made in U.S.A.” Recovered from a downtown Cairo square, the canisters urge anyone who comes near the gas to “seek assistance as soon as possible.” What’s worse: at least some of the cans expired in 2008. The gas is manufactured by Combined Systems International, of Jamestown, Pennsylvania. The U.S. provides Egypt $1.3 billion a year in military financing. 'The way I see it the U.S. administration supports dictators,' said one protester."
