Also, the President will yield and deal with the Republicans Debt Ceiling demands.  Ref: see previous deal where the Republicans won over the President.

 However, he doesn't have to yield.  Contrary to what Sen Cruz is now saying, the Debt debate shifted power to the Dems in a favorable way; the public turned on the "Shutdown the government" crowd, the Healthcare launch was the only thing that saved them.  (of course, there is a different reality on Conservo-News)
