Let the generals meet with republicans, religious leaders (Robertson and Dobson), and former military members to come up with a plan and have them present it to republican lawmakers. It'll be their plan, their responsibility.
Here 's an idea: let them get former Service Members who served in Iraq and were kicked out because of D. ask D. Tell. Better yet get that Marine who was the first person injured in Iraq -- the gay Marine, Marine Sgt. Eric Alva. Yeah, that One. The "Gay One."
