Mississippi Gains 1,000 Thin Solar Jobs | EarthTechling: "The sunny South is set to get a boost from solar, as Stion has announced plans to build a new production facility in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, as part of an incentive agreement with the state that includes a $75 million loan and other tax and training incentives. This facility will be the first thin-film solar panel factory in Mississippi, expected to add more than 1,000 jobs and $500 million in investments over the next six years."
