Dominion Virginia's EV Charge Pilot Program Gets Ready to Launch: "A subsidiary of energy giant Dominion (NYSE:D), Dominion Virginia proposed the pilot program to Virginia State Corporation Commission in February. With the SCC approval in hand the company will offer up to 750 participants two rate options as part of its pilot program. Participants can choose either the Electric Vehicle only option or the Whole House option.
Under the EV only option Dominion would install a separate meter dedicated to measuring the electricity used to charge the EV. With the special pilot program pricing customers would pay an estimated 43 cents to charge their EV overnight."
