After the support — but not an endorsement — from George H.W. Bush on Thursday, Mitt Romney received a call from the former president while traveling between stops on his New Hampshire bus tour.
Romney said he spoke with the elder Bush for several minutes.
“I am very encouraged of the support of President Bush for my campaign. Obviously, you can tell there is growing momentum for this effort in New Hampshire and across the country,” the former Massachusetts governor told reporters here.
