District of Columbia Mayor Vincent Gray says the city won’t tolerate flash mob robberies like those seen in recent days in Northeast Washington and Montgomery County.
Early Thursday morning, at least 10 girls entered a Benning Road convenience store and stole about $70 worth of snacks and other items. Images of the group were posted online. Gray says D.C. police will pursue criminal charges against those involved.
