VA Governor: No Statewide State Of Emergency - News - WAMU 88.5 FM - American University Radio: The governor says damage and injuries appear to be very minor. Major infrastructure and oil pipelines are in tact, though the 301 bridge between Maryland and Virginia has been closed pending inspection.

Two nuclear reactors at the North Anna Power Station have been shut down automatically.

McDonnell said that Tuesday's primary election would go on as planned. Some polling places were closed for up to 30 minutes but all reopened. Polls closed at 7 p.m.
